This is why I LURVE Creature Seattle
Seattle has never been the promised land for advertising. As beautiful and inspiring as the city is, there was never a Madison Avenue golden era. But some Seattle agencies, albeit a few, are making a name for themselves. My personal favorite is Creature. Watch above and you can see why. Right up my alley.

Is it bad that I really like this commercial?
I think the strategy for this spot is great. It addresses a controversial subject in a tactful and somewhat artistic way.

there is a reason the award’s keep rolling in for this ‘film of the year’ Danny Boyle’s Slumdog millionaire is the best film I have seen in a long tim.
Outstanding cinematography, outstanding actors, outstanding music. I can’t wait for this film to catch on, it’s incredible.
Interview with Jennifer Patterson
On Friday at work I had the chance to sit down with Jennifer Patterson, The group planner for DirecTV. She gave me some awesome advice. The thing I love/hate about sitting down with planners is that they challenge everything you say and you really have to work to show them the rationale for what you believe. Jenn wasn’t different.

a very usc thanksgiving.
This year is the first year I didn’t go home for thanksgiving. I have a lot of work to catch up on and Brent, Nick and I have been planning this for a while. It was good. pre-cooked honey baked turkey, I made all the sides myself and a full day of football on tv. Not bad for my first thanksgiving away.
